Now, it’s been almost a decade since I watched the anime feature, but it didn’t come across half as cool as that trailer did, nor with as much character. I wouldn’t mind seeing this.

Do you remember much about the originating anime? I recall enough to know that the basics of that are within the trailer, and that it was pretty cool to watch, but very light on story and character, so I was never satisfied with it.
Anyways, I wouldn’t mind seeing the movie when it comes out.
