The guys over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.giantbomb.com\/quick-look-fat-princess\/17-478\/\">Giant Bomb have posted a video of the beta<\/a>, and I have to say that I don&#8217;t give a crap.<\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=9,0,0,0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" id=\"gb_player\" align=\"middle\"><param name=\"allowScriptAccess\" value=\"sameDomain\" \/><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.giantbomb.com\/video\/video.swf\" \/><param name=\"quality\" value=\"high\" \/><param name=\"flashvars\" value=\"paramsURI=http%3A\/\/www.giantbomb.com\/video\/params\/478\/?w=1\"><param name=\"bgcolor\" value=\"#000000\" \/><\/param><\/object><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a long video, but the gameplay looks great. As the Bombers describe it, it&#8217;s a cross between deathmatch, capture the flag, and an RTS. There&#8217;s all kinds of awesome in this. The visuals are ironically cute, a kind of <em>Castle Crashers<\/em> mixed with <em>Warcraft II<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the game is to capture your enemy&#8217;s Princess. You make your own princess defensible by fattening her up with cake. I&#8217;m not sure how this is offensive. It&#8217;s harmless fun, and the amount of cartoon blood is probably more worrying.<\/p>\n<p>In any event, this looks like something worth picking up when it comes out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I remember some time last year, a bit of a furore erupted over the messages being sent upcoming game Fat Princess.
